Thoughts That Might Be Causing You Distress
“I’m not good enough. I’m flawed.”

“As a perfectionist, it takes me a long time to complete tasks.”
“I often worry that something terrible is going to happen.”
"I'm a People Pleaser."
Calm Your Anxious Thoughts, Live with More Ease and Joy
If you’re looking for help to overcome stress, worry, and anxiety, I can reassure you that relief is possible…
Living with anxiety is exhausting!
There IS HOPE. I Overcame Worry… AND You Can Too
I’m a psychologist who knows only too well how difficult life can be when you worry about everything or spend your energy pleasing others. There was a time that I worried far too much. If I did something that I thought others would not like or I felt wasn’t “good enough” I would get a knot in my stomach and worry like crazy. I was a people pleaser and a perfectionist, a “nice guy”. I desperately worried that if I didn’t please others, or fix their problems, they would reject me. I often placed other’s needs ahead of my own because I was so busy trying to ensure people liked me or wouldn’t be disappointed with me.
It’s not your fault you struggle with worries and fears.
AND, most importantly, it IS possible to overcome them. Therapy will help you give up thoughts, habits, and behaviors that are not serving you well, such as chronic worrying, perfectionism, and people pleasing.
You CAN have a more fulfilling life with better relationships.
I offer a safe, secure, and compassionate environment for you to heal your struggles. I’m personable and collaborative. You determine the issues you want to work on and the outcomes you wish to achieve. I may offer suggestions, but we always decide together on what happens in therapy.
I’m a warm and compassionate therapist with over 23 years of experience helping people overcome stress, anxiety, and depression. My clients tell me over and over how well I “get” them and how much I help them make sense of their problems and move forward in their lives. I am a Certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CACBT).
If you’re ready to say goodbye to stress and struggle and have healthier relationships with others without neglecting your own needs, then contact me to book an appointment in my counselling office in Vancouver.
