Suzanne holds a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC# 2141). She has been supporting children, youth and families in the lower mainland for over 25 years. Currently she is offering individual and family counselling as well as parenting workshops in North Vancouver.
In session, Suzanne will hold a safe and non-judgemental space for you to bring your questions, your worries, your fears, your hopes and your dreams. By being curious and open, and asking dynamic and thoughtful questions, she will work with you to move toward growth and awareness.
A large part of Suzanne's work involves working with children, adults and families to increase social and emotional skills. These are the skills that we all need to be able to get along with others. In addition to building these skills with children and adults in session, Suzanne supports parents in helping their children develop social and emotional skills at home. In workshops and in counselling sessions, she will share practices that you take home to do with your family to encourage these social and emotional skills.
