Shirley is passionate about helping people work through issues that are keeping them stuck or overwhelmed by creating a safe space and cultivating a supportive, collaborative relationship with her clients. Shirley has over 20 years of experience helping people who are exhausted from trying to hard too keep everything under control. Overthinking every detail, frustrated that other people seem to live their lives effortlessly and feeling like an imposter? Shirley will help you understand what’s holding you back and how you can fulfill your potential. She will introduce you to strategies to help you cope more effectively with stress and anxiety, increase your confidence, and eliminate the self defeating thoughts that prevent you from being your best self.
In addition to her individual practice, Shirley has consulted within the fitness industry and lifestyle/wellness professionals, with the TV series X-Weighted, and authored a book on weight loss and lifestyle management for their live rollout. She is also familiar with issues facing front line workers and the culture of the Federal Public Service and in particular, the Correctional Service of Canada, with 25 years serving as a Psychologist in Correction Institutions and Community Parole. Finally, Shirley has a decade of experience in Labour relations at the executive and Board level and enjoys problem solving and coaching with individuals and executives as well as consulting with Executive Boards and various private and public sector organizations.

She was a member of the Treasury Board task force that created reports for federalizing the Psychological Standard, including an implementation Guide for the Federal Public Service. As a National Executive Vice President for one the largest Unions for Professionals Employees in the Public Service, Shirley served as a Director on the Board and held Portfolios from women's issues, human rights, social media, and national labour management consultations.
- Shirley has 25 years experience as a forensic/ correctional Psychologist and has been declared an expert witness in the Supreme Court of Canada.
