I am committed to helping individuals and couples in the discovery of their own strengths and truths as they heal, change, and deal with life’s difficulties in more meaningful and welcome ways.
I create a warm, open, and safe therapeutic relationship with clients for the exploration and resolution of a variety of issues, such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, family, self-esteem, substance misuse, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
My counselling orientation draws from several theoretical approaches and is personalized to the unique needs and expectations of each client. This creative use of clinical skills holistically integrates emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and spiritual concerns in the context of relationships and experiences. I help people to understand themselves better, create more choices for themselves, and make changes.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. My background includes clinical training in Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and EMDR Levels I and II.
