Do you struggle with worry, sadness, or difficulty managing your thoughts or feelings? Are you frustrated by doing the same things over and over? Are you ready to make a change?
Or perhaps you find that your mind runs over and over the same problems like a hamster on a wheel? Maybe you feel easily triggered, constantly wired or unable to relax? Or maybe you've started to avoid or procrastinate on activities that are important to you. Do you have the feeling that something terrible is going to happen? Maybe you have felt this way for a long time - maybe as long as you can remember or maybe you can pinpoint the beginning. Maybe you've tried various fixes, but on the whole they haven't worked in the long term.
Therapy can help you figure out why you feel the way you do and help you make the changes you need feel better. This opens up the possibility of building the life you want. Imagine feeling stable and safe, fully present, and more connected to yourself and others; trusting yourself; making peace with your past; and achieving your goals.
My primary approach is called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) a type of mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). In this type of therapy, the focus is on "getting out of your mind and into your life". My work is brief, practical and highly focused. No more long drawn-out therapy!
Often I miss phone calls because I'm busy working with my clients. A better way is to click on the "Website" button on this page to schedule a free phone consultation and pick the time and day that works best for you!
