Welcome- I am so glad you found your way here.
For all of us, life brings experiences that challenge or overwhelm our ability to cope. We may feel alone and deeply shaken that our plans have fallen away. At other times, we may be longing to get unstuck from patterns that are causing harm to our relationships and ourselves. Or we may be outwardly successful and yet disconnected on the inside, and unable to manage in certain areas. Parents can also struggle, and face challenging issues with their children.
In my counselling practice with individuals, children and families, I bring compassionate support and well-honed tools to strengthen your inner capacity to meet your life and the challenges of life, with: integrity, trust in yourself and deep connection. Working together can yield an inner compass and a sense of rightness and courage even when the terrain is hard.
Areas of Specialty:
- Transforming Patterns (self-doubt, perfectionism, acting our behaviours etc.)
- Relieving Symptoms of anxiety, depression or conflicting emotions
- Parenting Support
- Play and Sandtray Therapy for school aged children and adults (please inquire for more details)
- Spiritual Practice

- Finding your Life Direction
My therapeutic style is relational and experiential, meaning that I may invite you to pay attention to what is happening in the present moment, and within your emotions and body experience. This approach develops new pathways for you to be more authentic, and connected to those you love.
Clients say they experience me as down to earth, deeply affirming, warm and fiercely able to take a stand for the parts of them that are walled off and alone. Through our work together, my clients gain a renewed sense of aliveness, hope, confidence and a growing trust in their own basic goodness, worth and wisdom.
In my work with families, I offer an approach that honours their child's potential and uniqueness. Together we will develop a plan that addresses root causes. Parents also feel "seen" and understood, and find resilience on their parenting journey.
Let's begin! I am happy and prepared to support you.
I invite you to contact me for a free no-obligation twenty minute phone consultation or to set up an appointment. Simply click on one of buttons above or give me a call at (604)-926-6665. Research shows that the relationship with our Counsellor is one of the most important predictors for a successful outcome. Therefore in this initial consultation we have an opportunity to explore whether we are a good fit and address your questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
