Are you going though a difficult time in your life? Are you feeling lost? Do you need someone to talk to, to see things from an fresh perspective and without judgement? Counselling can help. Counselling offers you a non-judgmental space to process feelings and build skills to meet new challenges as they arise. Whether it’s coping with a recent loss, receiving a new health diagnosis, struggling with a relationship or processing past traumas, counselling can help you cope and regain a sense of self-determination.
I am a registered clinical social worker with the BC College of Social Work excited to work with you and help you on your journey. I have experience working with people impacted by chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as coping with grief, loss, and trauma. I utilize a client-centered, solution focused approach as well as motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am also interested in learning from you and your experiences and adapting my practice to meet your unique needs. I offer in-person sessions as well as virtual sessions over Zoom and can accommodate sliding scale rates as needed.
If you feel like you can’t do it alone anymore, you don’t have to.
