About Lucinda
Born and raised in London England, Lucinda moved to British Columbia in 2009 following her previous residence in New York City. She has traveled much of Europe and North America engaging in work with children, youth and adults of a therapeutic nature in addition to upholding roles in the corporate environment. Upon arriving in Vancouver and completing her Masters in Clinical Counselling, she began to focus in on therapy that integrates the mind-body connection and explored how holistic wellness practices such as yoga, meditation, physical activity, nature and cognitive-behavioral exercises worked simultaneously to excrete the ability to reach the optimal mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. She has worked in both a Private Practice as an individual and couples therapist in addition to working with the BC Society of Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse as both an individual and group psychotherapist. Lucinda is also a certified Personal Trainer exploring the practice of exercise in psychotherapy and currently obtaining her Yoga instructor qualifications.
