Linda has over 25 years of experience working in post-secondary and career counselling settings, for employee assistance programs, and in addiction and mental health services. Through these professional experiences and her own counselling journey, she has come to believe in the importance of clients finding their authentic voice and one’s ability to transform self and relationships. Linda takes a client-centered approach to the counselling relationship. She enjoys working with individuals and couples.

Linda works from a trauma informed and holistic approach that allows clients to deepen their relationship with self and others. She draws from a variety of counselling theories and methods, including self relational theory, the family systems model, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness and meditation. Linda is also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Linda has Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
