Hello! I am Lindsay Deane and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. There are times in life that can leave us feeling vulnerable and alone - my goal is to come alongside you, so you don't have to feel this way. I specialize in working with folks who struggle with guilt, shame, life transitions, anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns, that have them feeling like life is not worth living. I also support teens and parents who are struggling with relationship dynamics, or who have experienced traumatic events. I am currently undergoing training in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. I also rely on IFS, narrative therapy, attachment and psychodynamic approaches.

Sessions take place through live video - this can make people feel apprehensive at first, however, forming a good therapeutic relationship virtually is just as possible as forming one in person. That said, it may not be for everyone! This is why I encourage clients to reach out and book a free 20-minute video consultation to see if it is something that will work for them.

I believe that building a solid relationship comes first. Once we get to know one another, I will tailor my approach to best suit your needs. Everything is at your own pace, and my goal is to provide support to wade through the muddy waters. Perhaps we can even share some laughs along the way.
