Kristine Nordahl is a Registered Clinical Counsellor seeing clients in the Langley area.
Kristine works with adults and youth who are struggling with anxiety, stress, grief, addictions, and relationship conflict to help feel more in control of their lives. Life can be a roller coaster of emotions and she will help you get through a romantic heartbreak, reduce your anxiety or panic attacks, lower your substance use, re-frame how you remember a past trauma, or support your grief over the loss of a family member, friend or pet. She can also work with your teenager who is struggling with anxiety which can present itself via cutting, substance misuse, disordered eating, panic attacks, and/or parent/teen discord.
It is important to know you are not going through this alone, and Kristine can provide a safe place to share your feelings, explore why particular emotions are coming up, and help you move through the hard times with a better understanding of self. She will also help you tap into the skills you already possess, while also teach you new skills that will be beneficial in years to come. Life has ups and downs and there is no shame in reaching out for help when you are struggling emotionally.
Kristine also works with those struggling after a motor vehicle accident (ICBC), and provide anger management to mandated clients who prefer private counseling (letter to court included).
