I’m a psychotherapist (MA, RCC) who offers therapy with heart. I’m committed to helping my clients learn how to move courageously beyond shame and self-defeat, and towards wholeheartedness, vulnerability, and belonging.
My private practice is a safe, nurturing space for acceptance and growth. It’s located in a quiet, quaint community in West Vancouver, with big windows and a view of the ocean.
I use a blend of progressive therapies I have found to be most effective for healing and transformation. I have a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Seattle City University and an undergraduate degree in Education and Human Kinetics from The University of British Columbia. I’m a certified Daring Way™ facilitator-consultant (CDWF-C), and have had extensive training in Narrative Therapy and multiple Mind-Body Therapy modalities.
“Therapy with heart” means that this is more than just a job to me; it’s a calling, a passion. I love what I do. I am honoured everyday with clients who trust me with their most sacred vulnerability. I know the work they’re doing is hard, and I try to honour that by bringing warmth and humour to my sessions, and always making sure my clients feel safe and valued.
Please contact me if you’d like to learn more about working with me.
