Sometimes dealing with life’s difficulties can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, alone, or unable to cope. You may notice patterns in your life that continuously leave you stranded in the same stuck places, from which you can’t seem to move despite your best efforts. Counselling is not only about finding solutions to the difficulties of life, but about finding yourself as a whole human being, about discovering your personal strengths and resources and about finding freedom in healing and personal growth.
“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity" - Hippocrates
Counselling provides the opportunity of a safe and accepting space to discuss your concerns, process issues, and work on your relationships with yourself and with others. It takes courage to face challenges directly, but by doing so, you will discover your best self, along with strengths and personal resources that may not have previously been realized.
"Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life" - Shannon Alder“
