I help people at a crossroads in their life. Do you want more out of your relationships? Is the way you're coping starting to become the problem? Do you wonder if you'll always feel this low and anxious? Covid-19 has pushed us into greater isolation yet we still want to live a connected and "balanced" life. It's more important than ever to actively care for our mental health.
I have over ten years of experience supporting people to cope and transform through life's biggest dilemmas. I'm not intimidated by big emotions and my goal is to create a safe, confidential space to say out loud what feels heavy and create real change where needed.
I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) with the BC College of Social Workers and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
I offer secure, online video counselling to individuals and couples of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures and backgrounds.
Common concerns that people come to work with me on include:
- Impact of COVID-19
- Relationships
- Depression
- Stress, anxiety, burn-out
- Substance use
- Challenges living as LGBTQ2S+
- Breaks-ups, separation, divorce
- Reproductive concerns (infertility, pregnancy loss, abortion)
- Cancer
- End of Life
- Grief and loss
To support you in your goals, I have a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University, a Clinical Fellowship in Addictions Social Work at the BC Centre on Substance Use, and a post-graduate certificate in Palliative Care from Lakehead University.
