I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and I have a master’s degree in Clinical Counselling from City University of Seattle. With growing up on the West Coast, I feel very connected to nature and believe in its healing powers for people’s mental and physical well-being. I am a strong believer in social justice and I am passionate about helping people navigate through the upheavals of life. I specialize in supporting people who are struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma and grief. I offer individual counselling sessions virtually to people in British Columbia and I live on Vancouver Island.
I offer individual counselling for people who are struggling with anxiety, chronic stress & burnout, eating disorders, grief, and trauma. Using a variety of approaches, I can help you explore ways in reaching your goals, find coping strategies to reduce anxiety and have a safe place for you to explore your feelings. I also provide psychoeducation so you can gain more understanding about your symptoms and how your feelings and thoughts are connected. I use person-centered, feminist, narrative, somatic-based and response-based approaches in working with clients.
