"I like how you help me to see myself as powerful and capable..." and "I didn't know counseling could be like this...", are word spoken by my clients.
My genuine, caring and compassionate approach, along with my lighthearted sense of humor, are instrumental in establishing an empowering and safe relationship with my client. I work with people of all ages who face challenges which impede their ability to live full and meaningful lives.
I use scientifically-proven therapies including: CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, EFT and Play Therapy with children. I have trained with the industry's leader's in my field because it's my goal to provide you with the most up to date approaches to get the best results that you deserve.
My 20+ years experience working in the helping profession as: a First Responder, a Crisis Clinician (child/youth) and a Private Practice Therapist, have given me powerful insight into the innate human potential for resiliency, and growth. I truly love my work as a counsellor and I enjoy partnering with my clients to help them see and enact their potential for, healing, growth and change.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you. Please feel free to call me, text, or e-mail me to set up an appointment or a free phone consultation.
