I work with individual clients seeking to navigate difficult transitions in their life; to address recent or past significant or traumatic life events; to explore their most important relationships and improve how they communicate with those who matter most in their lives.
I welcome adults of any age, any gender, any sexual identity, and from any relationship configuration.
Recently much of my work has been with: health care providers at the front-line of the covid pandemic; new parents; young adults with existential concerns; queer and trans clients; men looking to deepen their emotional lives and capacity for vulnerability.
My practice is built on the belief that we are all complex beings whose thoughts, feelings and relationships are inter-connected. I am passionate about pursuing clinical excellence, and I believe this requires ongoing self-reflection, life-long skill development, and striving towards cross-cultural competence.
Since 2014, I have been a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I completed my MA in Counselling Psychology at The University of British Columbia, and I hold a BA from the University of Victoria.
I provide exclusively remote counselling by video or phone session, to clients anywhere in the province of BC.
I live and work on the traditional unceded territory of The K'ómoks First Nation on Vancouver island.
