Judith is a Registered Psychologist with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She has over 30 years experience working with individual adults, adolescents, and children as well as couples and families. She is a Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor and trainer, author, and international lecturer. Her overarching belief in human resiliency, hope, and faith guides her work.
Judith has particular experience helping clients reduce stress, anxiety and depression, enhance relationships, improve parenting skills, develop effective communication skills, and determine and achieve life goals. Her compassion and experience with those who are dying, bereaved, or coping with chronic illness, trauma or life transitions provide insightful companionship with some of life's most difficult challenges.
Judith has trained extensively in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and integrates this with Emotion Focused Therapy to assist couples challenged by relationship issues or those seeking pre-marital wisdom.

With her extensive background in play therapy Judith is able to integrate CBT, mindfulness, and play therapy depending on the unique needs of each child. Utilizing R2CS, a trademarked program Judith developed for reducing stress and anxiety, Judith guides young people in developing their own “calming kit." She engages parents with this work, guiding them to enhanced attachment and effective parenting skills to support the child as needed.
For those interested in deepening personal insight and understanding, Judith provides a gentle approach to gaining wisdom from one's inner realm. Her extensive experience and training in depth psychology, sand play, expressive therapies, and dream work enhance access to previously unconscious material with a view to shifting previously painful thoughts, behaviors and emotions into more adaptive ways of being in the world. .
Her cliental includes residents of the Fraser Valley, metro Vancouver, and the North Shore.
