Dr. Gail Krivel-Zacks has helped hundreds of students overcome challenges to achieve success.
A Registered Clinical Counsellor, Dr. Gail received her doctorate in Educational Psychology and Special Education from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Gail has dedicated her career to directly helping children and adolescents thrive in their unique communities. She is intimately familiar with the school environment having taught in elementary schools and in faculties of education at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver Island University. She most recently has been the coordinator of the Master of Special Education program at Vancouver Island University.
Parents learn to understand what their children are communicating through their behaviour. Individual sessions are available as well as, facilitated support groups offer parents a safe positive environment in which to talk with other parents who understand.
