In my work as a Registered Psychologist since 2002, I have had the honor and privilege to accompany individuals and couples along their journeys to discovering the emotional and spiritual growth that results from working through the challenges they face. Dr. Yaskowich is a Registered Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is trained in both traditional and wholistic psychotherapeutic methods and provides individuals and couples a variety of paths to wellness. As the needs of each individual are unique, she draws on a variety of well-researched treatment approaches including: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Hypnosis, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Meditation, Positive Psychology, and Existential/Spiritual Therapies. Her primary areas of practice include Personal Growth and Peak Performance Coaching, Life Transitions, Anxiety Disorders, Depression/Bipolar Disorder, Relationship Patterns, and Couples Therapy.
She has experience in her career and training providing psychological services in hospitals, a university counseling center, an employee assistance program, and in the private practice she founded in 2003 and currently practices in full-time, Conscious Living Wellness Services Inc.
Dr. Yaskowich has been granted a number of national honours and awards during her training as a psychologist and has published research on emotional resilience in international, peer-reviewed journals, marking her distinction. She is also widely respected for the wellness workshops she facilitates. Her expertise on contemporary psychological issues is also frequently sought by the media. Dr. Yaskowich continues to educate herself on wholistic approaches to improving emotional and spiritual well-being by attending international conferences and seminars on the intimate relationship between the mind, body, and spirit. Her passion for her work is demonstrated by the high quality of services she provides.
She currently offers in-person therapy sessions at her office in downtown Vancouver, BC following all Covid related health and safety protocols and Video/Phone sessions for individuals and couples who prefer to experience therapy from the comfort of their own space.
