Dianne Leitch, BComm, Master of Counselling, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a private practice in North Vancouver. She welcomes individuals and couples facing concerns with infertility, relationships, career satisfaction, anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem, and grief to her practice. Dianne has facilitated workshops on topics such as: stress management; suicide prevention; addictions; self esteem; and embracing change and moving forward.
Dianne helps individuals and couples move through life transitions, such as facing infertility, changing careers, parenting, marriage, death, the loss of a job, and divorce.
Her goal is to provide her clients with practical skills that help them manage their stress better. She creates an opportunity for clients to understand the sources of their stress; to know what they can change and how to deal with what they cannot. She also provides specific techniques for her clients to change unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours to better manage their stress.
Dianne’s first career was in business, and she has great empathy for those facing challenges trying to balance career, family and personal goals. She has completed graduate research on infertility counselling; focusing on career women who have waited to start a family. She has been married for thirty years and has raised two children. As a result of her own experiences and training, Dianne brings a warm and practical approach to her work with clients.
In an atmosphere of respect, Dianne can help you to discover ways to accept your worries and disappointments as normal, and to move forward with confidence to a happier more fulfilling life.
Dianne offers a free telephone consultation to discuss your issues and expectations for counselling. Before the first session begins, you will have an opportunity to ensure that you feel safe and supported in your relationship with Dianne.
