Chanelle believes all individuals have the capability and resilience to face each challenge in life, no matter how intimidating it may seem. Sometimes, in the face of uncertainty or moments of distress, we need a helping hand. Chanelle hopes to be that hand and walk side by side with you while you travel the path unknown. Empathy, warmth, compassion, and authenticity - these are the tenets that Chanelle bases her counselling practice around. She believes that a therapeutic relationship cannot thrive without genuine, unwavering, and unconditional acceptance of all clients, no matter what walk of life they come from. Chanelle strives to see the humanity and individualism in everyone she sees.
When working with Chanelle, you can expect to be supported to explore your concerns in a way that is meaningful to you. She can support you to understand how the problem came to be, how it is impacting your life now, and what you'd like the future to look like. Chanelle works with her clients to create change in their own lives, and to look toward the future. She can help process past trauma, explore unhelpful patterns, address unwanted behaviours, work on setting boundaries, engage in relationships with friends, families or partners in a healthier way, prepare for or settle into major life transitions, and improve your relationship with yourself.
Chanelle supports clients to address challenges in their lives, including:
- depression
- anxiety
- trauma
