I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.
I work in the field of healing because I believe that it is always possible, and I believe deeply in the power of relationships to facilitate that healing. The connection that we build in our work together is of the utmost importance to me, and I strive to create a space where you can feel safe enough to share your truth and feel accepted and loved for exactly who you are.
My approach is client-centered and deeply relational in nature, and I primarily draw on Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused, Internal Family System and Narrative therapeutic approaches. However, all of my work is tailored to the individual and their specific needs.
I support clients with a variety of challenges, and my passion is in helping people to better understand their struggles, feel empowered, and build a relationship with themselves based on acceptance and respect. My areas of practice include anxiety (particularly social anxiety), depression, suicidality, self-harm, self-hatred, self-esteem/self-worth, and eating disorders/disordered eating.
