"Calm, Caring, Compassionate" As a counsellor I help guide individuals to discover ways to adjust to loss, gain awareness of patterns of behaviour that are causing distress and create strategies for decision making and change. I have over 20 years experience providing support in times of interpersonal challenges.
Counselling through talk therapy can provide a confidential, objective experience for individuals to be heard and explore personal issues in depth. I use an interpersonal approach, solution-focused therapy, strengths based and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) in my methods.
Main areas of focus; anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, workplace and relationship issues
I welcome an initial phone conversation or email to discuss concerns and the possibility of the development of a therapeutic relationship.
