By addressing troubling thoughts and feelings, self-sabotaging behaviors, and traumas, life can be made more manageable, productive, and fulfilling. Feelings such as grief, shame, anxiety, sadness, and anger often signal that something needs to change. Listening to and working with these feelings—some that consume us and others that gently nudge us—can move us forward. Through this, we sometimes discover that our everyday dilemmas are part of larger patterns waiting to be resolved as a whole.
My goal is to tap into your strengths and provide a space where all aspects of your self feel welcome. I’ll meet you where you are with a grounded approach adapted to your needs. Together, and hopefully with a few laughs, we’ll take on what’s troubling you; I believe shared humor and a sense of relating are crucial for effective therapy.
Problems of living and psychological symptoms are unique to each situation. I'll look at the big picture—taking your context and individuality as a whole into account. We'll work from multiple points of view—depth-oriented and solution focused approaches—in order to best support your process of healing, self-development, radical acceptance, and growth.
