I have supported marginalized populations in various capacities throughout my career and I specialize in supporting neurodivergent folks in my private practice (e.g. diagnosed, suspected, or self diagnosed Autistic folks and ADHDers).
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches in my practice and adapt sessions to meet the specific situation and needs of each client. I believe that growth and healing is a lifelong journey that is unique to each person's contexts, needs, beliefs, and hopes. As a proponent of social justice, I am committed to maintaining a practice that celebrates differences, cultivates curiosity, values intersectionality, and empowers advocacy.
Whether you’re facing a new challenge or have been coping with something long-term, I look forward to working alongside you to process and deepen your understanding of yourself and the problems you face, shift unhelpful thoughts and patterns, access your inner wisdom, and mobilize change in your relationship with your circumstances.
Finding a counsellor you can trust and connect with is crucial. I offer complimentary consultation virtually or in-person to help you get a general feel of my therapeutic style and decide whether I am a fit for what you are looking for.
