What is it that brings you here today? Is it depression? Loneliness? Anxiety? Lack of motivation, or an all around feeling of stuckness? Maybe it’s all of the above! You may be tired of trying to “figure things out” or to “change yourself” and wondering what to do next. Whatever it is, you probably feel kind of alone in your struggle. That is a common myth we all buy into at some point, but you are not alone. There are a ton of great therapists here to help. Here is how you can figure out if I am the one to call:
Ask yourself, “Am I looking for space to just be me, a place to just say it like it is, for someone to just listen to me long enough that I can start to hear myself!?” If the answer is yes to that, we might be a good team.
What I can give you is my full attention, acceptance, and compassion for how you feel and what you are facing in your life right now. Hopefully, it won’t take long for you to be able to give more of that to yourself too. You see, I trust that turning toward the uncomfortable feelings you have about the things you are dealing with right now is the very thing that will give you a way forward. I know that is not always easy to do on your own. So, we can do it together.
It is important to note that I currently only meet with clients online via a secure video chat platform or on the phone. This allows me to be able to offer more flexible scheduling and you can save yourself the commute! All you need to do is set aside one hour of your time and find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted. We can talk just as we would in an office.
If that sounds like it might work for you, let’s talk. We can set up a free 15 minute phone call for you to ask me any questions that you might have about me or my approach, and maybe tell me a little bit about what you are looking for in therapy. If it’s a good fit, great! We can work together. If not, I can point you in the right direction to help you find the kind of support you need.
