Practice information:
I have been counselling for over 25 years with an emphasis on human wholeness that focuses on self reflection, understanding and creativity, helping people build a more positive, purposeful and a more meaningful life. In an encouraging atmosphere of listening and speaking, one can pause to find paths through difficult times - towards solutions, specific strategies and sometimes forgivenesses and acceptance, in ways that help one reclaim their sense of strength and power.
The ability to communicate I believe, with oneself and with others, and the exploration of old emotional patterns with insight often assists people to find a more comfortable place in life -helping them resolve conflicts and feel more connected with themselves, with those around them and with the world in general.
Whether it be navigating through a difficult relationship, work related stress, family problems, depression or loss, counselling can become an opportunity to pause, find words for thoughts and emotions and be understood; it is often healing and has one gaining a sense that some weight has been lifted from their shoulders.
