Practice Information

I support individuals and couples who often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in repeating emotional or relational patterns. Many are managing on the outside, while internally feeling anxious, disconnected, or unsure why the same struggles keep showing up. Together, we make sense of what’s happening by exploring how past experiences, coping patterns, relationships, and current pressures shape your responses. This helps us understand what keeps these patterns going -- and what may need to shift for things to feel different in a meaningful, lasting way.

I support individuals and couples navigating:

• Anxiety, stress, and burnout
• Relationship challenges and communication patterns
• Repeating emotional cycles or reactivity
• Life transitions, grief, and identity shifts
• Trauma and the impact of past experiences
• Self-worth, perfectionism, and self-criticism
• Work, school, and life balance

I have a particular interest in relationship dynamics, especially patterns that leave people feeling disconnected or stuck in cycles of conflict.

My Approach
My approach is collaborative, relational, and practical. Together, we look beneath the surface to understand the patterns and experiences shaping how you relate to yourself and others.

In our work, we focus on:
• Noticing and making sense of patterns that feel hard to change
• Understanding how past experiences show up in the present
• Developing practical, manageable ways to respond differently

The goal isn’t just insight, but meaningful shifts in how you navigate your emotions, relationships, and day-to-day life.

What It’s Like to Work With Me
Sessions are a space to slow things down and make sense of what feels overwhelming or difficult to put into words. I bring a calm, supportive presence, while also offering gentle challenge and perspective where helpful. You can expect a balance of reflection, insight, and practical tools -- moving at a pace that feels manageable and aligned with where you’re at.

Background
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent over seven years working in social services, supporting people through complex challenges and major life transitions. These experiences continue to shape my work and inform a grounded, compassionate approach to change.
