He or she will then help the clients to work on verbal and nonverbal communication styles to help shift patterns and bring about positive change.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) deals with depressive symptoms and issues. This short term treatment of up to 20 weeks deals with the client's main symptoms during the initial sessions.
