TIR is an exceptionally effective approach to resolving trauma and reducing unwanted negative emotions such as anger and anxiety.  The workshop also teaches techniques for handling current issues such as relationship problems.

TIR is part of the broader field of Applied Metapsychology, and has been practised internationally for over 25 years. Applied Metapsychology is wholly person-centered, non-interpretive and non-judgmental, yet highly focused, directive and controlled.  Excellent results are typically achieved within a relatively short time.

Advanced communication skills are integral to all Metapsychology work and are taught and practised during the workshop. Participants also get hands on experience in delivering sessions using TIR and related techniques.

  • TIR is a stand-alone workshop.
  • Small group guarantee: Max. 10 participants per workshop.
  • Approved for CE credits by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and the American Psychological Association (24 hours of CE credits).
  • Comprehensive manual
  • Attendance certificate from Applied Metapsychology International
  • Fees:  $860 including HST.  $120 secures your place; balance is payable 14 days before start of workshop.

Workshop Leader:  Pauline Carey, M.A. R.C.C., Certified Advanced TIR Trainer

Pauline has 25 years of clinical counselling experience, and now practises Metapsychology almost exclusively. She divides her time between a busy private practice and TIR and Life Stress Reduction training. Pauline studied Applied Metapsychology with three of the world’s leading trainers, gaining a wealth of knowledge to share with workshop participants. She is a popular presenter, whose trainings are always enthusiastically received.
