Have you been struggling with trying to create changes in your life, but for some reason you keep continuing old patterns? Have you been struggling with feeling stuck in working towards the life that you imagine for yourself? Do you sometimes feel like you act in automatic ways that are out of line with your values or goals?
In my practice, I like to help people to increase their understanding of why the above might be happening and how to effectively create change. Utilizing a variety of interventions that help increase our mindfulness, increase our capacity to cope with emotions and/or discomfort, as well as using parts-based perspectives from Internal Family Systems and Trauma Informed Stabilization Techniques, we can work together to help you actively create changes toward the life that you imagine for yourself. I also bring in educational pieces to help you learn more about how your own nervous system and brain function, empowering you to be able to continue making these changes outside of the therapy room.
