Sylvia has in-depth clinical experience and has completed extensive programs in the areas of trauma and trauma recovery with emphasis on attachment and the neurobiology of trauma. She is currently developing Somatic Transformation with Dr. Sharon Stanley. This highly creative approach effectively engages the art and neuroscience of healing trauma,

Sylvia has traveled in Tanzania, supporting Maasai women in micro-lending businesses and education for young girls. She did brief studies in India in Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy. Shamanic studies based in the Peruvian, Celtic and First Nations tradition is at the core of her engagement in the healing arts. She is currently developing a new website for this work.
