I value a collaborative approach to working with clients to meet their individual needs and goals, recognizing that each person walks through the door with unique life challenges and that asking for support can be a difficult task. I foster a safe therapeutic space so that individuals seeking support are welcomed with unconditional acceptance.
A Canadian Certified Counsellor and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, I obtained my Masters degree in Educational Counselling (University of Ottawa) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (McGill University). I has over five years of combined clinical counselling experience and educational training.
Client centered and strengths-based frameworks guide my practice. I also integrate Mindfulness approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, feminist counselling, and motivational interviewing. I offer support to adults, young adults, and teenagers through times of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, relationship difficulties, for stress management and challenging life transitions.
