Paula is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She has extensive knowledge and experience working with people who suffer from anxiety. Paula has given workshops on understanding and managing anxiety for individuals suffering from this affliction.
She has been guest lecturer on performance wellness at many music departments including SUNY at Fredonia in New York State, UBC, VCC, Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Capilano University as well as developed a course - The Embodied Performer - that uses mindfulness practices to ease stagefright. A professional musician herself for over 30 years, she understands the struggles musicians, actors and artists go through. Experience in the performing arts has informed her practice in a unique way for those clients on this challenging path.
Her practice also involves working with individuals on a variety of other issues including loss, depression, relationship exploration, transitions and self-expression.
Paula works from a mind/body integrative and holistic perpective. If the mind, body and spirit work in harmony, there is a sense of well being, connection, purpose and inspiration.
She provides a respectful and compassionate environment to accompany her clients on the path inward towards alignment with the authentic self. She has a special interest in the journey toward health through creative expression.
