I have been practicing as a counsellor for over 20 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and I am registered with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors.
At the core of my approach to counselling is the belief that every human being is unique and inherently valuable. I believe that you know best who you are and what you need, and that you will naturally grow in positive ways when you are affirmed and supported.
Counselling is like a journey and I am simply a fellow traveler – I will walk beside you for a time, giving you genuine acceptance, respect and support. In counselling, you will be invited to explore your situation in a way that reveals your core values and innate strengths, and ultimately what is truly meaningful to you in life. We will work collaboratively and tailor the process of counselling to your particular needs and goals, and together we will find ways to bring healing and transformation to your life.
I enjoy working with a wide range of people, both adolescents and adults. I offer counselling to individuals, and I have expertise in the following areas:
Registrations: I am registered with Province of BC Crime Victim Assistance Program, and with Ceridian Lifeworks Employee Assistance Program.
