Louise Chivers is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who sees clients in a well-appointed professional office on the boundary of Vancouver and Burnaby.
Louise facilitates CBT therapy for anxiety in group format. These groups, called Anxiety Allies, are held in the evenings at the Vancouver location. Anxiety Allies groups are especially designed for the working person requiring a low cost option for anxiety treatment. In addition, She also provides one to one counselling and EMDR treatment for PTSD and anxiety.
Clients experiencing stress, anxiety and/or symptoms related to traumatic events would benefit from working with Louise. She brings years of experience and a strong understanding of the complexity of anxiety, as well as a belief in resilience and the path toward wellness.
For over thirty years Louise has worked in the mental health and addictions system and in private practice. She understands the confusion, sadness, and despair of those who have tried to manage their overwhelming feelings and distressful self-talk alone.
