Danielle Aldcorn, BSW, MA, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Co-Director of Satori Integrative Health Centre in Steveston BC.
Danielle is an Adlerian-trained therapist who has practiced in a private setting for more than twenty years and previously worked in both the public and private school systems. Danielle offers services to children, youth & families for: Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Behaviour challenges, Family communication, School-related concerns, and Social-emotional skill development.
In a unique indoor-outdoor clinic setting Danielle uses a mixture of verbal and expressive therapies, including games, art, journaling, music, stories, somatic movement, sensory toys, as well as nature-based and play therapy. Danielle encourages the development of skills related to social relationships, communication, anger management, self-esteem, relaxation, and problem solving. Danielle also facilitates communication, assertiveness, and self-awareness in children, youth and parents to help them gain insight, solve problems, and cope with difficult situations.
