Nikita is a graduate of OISE, University of Toronto, and the Toronto Child Psychotherapy Program (Clarke Institute of Psychiatry and the C.M. Hincks Delcrest Centre). She is a founder of the Western Canada Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association, and of the Vancouver and North Shore Collaborative Divorce Groups. She treats children, adolescents, parents, adults, families, and couples.

Nikita is highly regarded as a spokesperson for women and children, provides case supervision, and is a valuable community resource and seasoned educator.

Nikita also edits manuscripts involving psychological themes, assists with affidavits for family court, and writes promotional materials for clinicians.

She holds memberships with BCACC, CCA, CAPCT, ACPA, and FMC.
