We all need balance in life. But there are times when it can be very challenging to lead a balanced life. These are times when we feel overwhelmed, stressed, or lost; we may have lost sight of the beauty in ourselves, others, and the world, leading us to feel like strangers in our own lives.
My name is Jenny Watt and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I support people’s desire to maintain inner health and to live a well-balanced life. I have a special interest in helping people feel connected to themselves, others, and the world, and I value people’s natural ability to heal, grow, and thrive. My passion is in encouraging people to recognize the beauty and joy that is both within and around them.
My clinical experience with children, youth, adults, parents, couples, and families, as well of those with various cultures, religion, and sexual orientation, has illustrated the innate ability in all individuals to adapt, cope, and grow from challenges. My belief is that a trusting and non-judgmental counselling relationship is essential for productive therapy. Therefore, I take on an inquisitive, empathic, creative, and gentle approach to counselling and psychotherapy in order to meet the unique needs of each client.
I have experience working with individuals who are facing the following issues:
I have also offered couples therapy for issues including, but not limited to:
I am currently accepting appointments from youth, adults, couples, and parents.
