Janice has had a private practice for 15 years, ten of those in Nanaimo.
Her office location provides comfort, confidentiality and convenience. Her
schedule is structured to meet the needs of clients.

Janice believes that people have the ability to make change in the form of
behaviour, belief, or perception. As a therapist Janice assists her clients
in their process of change. She is highly skilled in assessing and
implementing the interventions most appropriate to each individual's unique
situation.

Although she maintains a broad based general practice, she has expertise (a
combination of extensive training and experience) in a few areas. Janice
has worked with issues of anger and abuse for 15 years with men and women.
Her experience provides a unique insight into working with male clients.
Her second area of expertise is relationship counselling. The model she
uses is Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples or EFT.
