Jeffrey Fisher, M.A., RCC is pleased to combine his interest in information technology and web site development with his clinical background. A counsellor since the mid 80's, Jeffrey maintains a private practice, and works as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals at the Columbia Centre for Rehabilitation in Vancouver. For several years Jeffrey was a Delegate Counsel Representative for the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. In 1999 the association honoured him with the Volunteer of the Year Award. Jeffrey is very pleased to continue with the development of CounsellingBC.com in its new format.
Editorial Board

Ross A. Laird, PhD, RCC is a best-selling author, award-winning scholar, and teacher of creativity. Additionally he is a consultant in the psychology of management and a clinical supervisor in the fields of addiction and trauma. Currently he teaches at Vancouver Community College, The Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, Simon Fraser University, and Langara College. Ross is the author of the critically-acclaimed books "Grain of Truth" (short-listed for a Governor General's Award) and "A Stone's Throw". His upcoming book on addictions will be published in 2007.

Warren Weir, Ph.D., R.Psych. is a psychologist who, in addition to his work in the Chronic Pain program at Columbia Centre, maintains a private practice as well as teaching responsibilities. He actively pursues professional development activities and is on the Faculty of the Gestalt Experiential Training Institute as well as Vancouver Community College. He is presently involved in planning a Vancouver-based conference on Gestalt Therapy

Lindsay Stewart, MSW, RSW Lindsay has a long history as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor. He works with individuals, couples and groups using an integrative psychotherapy model. Areas of expertise include treatment for childhood abuse and neglect, sexual identity problems, gay and lesbian issues, HIV/AIDS, 2nd stage recovery from substance abuse, sexual addictions, as well as deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

April Steele, M.Sc., BCATR is a Registered Art Therapist, an EMDRIA- approved consultant, and an expert at working with clients who have a history of abuse, neglect and attachment issues. She has developed an approach, called "Developing a Secure Self", which incorporates "Imaginal Nurturing". Her work has been embraced, across North America, as a missing piece for professionals trained in EMDR.
